Céline Zufferey published her first novel, "Sauver les meubles"(Gallimard Collection Blanche) in 2017. To write her second novel, she received several grants (Pro Helvetia literary creation grant; Valais State Literature Pro research and writing grant; Ledig-Rowholt Foundation residency at Lavigny Castle).
Images play an important role in her work: still images in her first novel, moving images in her second. She has written articles on early cinema for SOFILM and Sorociné, and produced a documentary for France Culture entitled "Il aurait pu écrire l'histoire du cinéma, Une histoire particulière".
Guest of the 7th edition, Céline Zufferey will give a performance reading, followed by a screening of Alice Guy's film "The Ocean Waif" and a book signing for her book "Nitrate" (Gallimard).
