Moulin Rouge to open the 8th edition!

To kick off the 8th Rencontres 7e art Lausanne, with its theme of love stories, we are proud to present Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge! as the opening film on Friday 7 March at the Capitole - Cinémathèque suisse.

This flamboyant masterpiece, combining all-consuming passion and visual extravagance, revisits love in all its grandeur and excess. The screening will be based on a magnificent 35mm print from the collections of the Cinémathèque Suisse.
