Pierre-Marie Dru is the founder and director of Pigalle Production, a music production and publishing company established in 2004. Through Pigalle Production, he produces artists and creates soundtracks for film, television, and advertising. In cinema, Dru works as a music supervisor, overseeing the artistic direction of original scores, executive production, music licensing, sound design, and often the final mix of films. Pierre-Marie Dru's work has garnered significant acclaim, including Best Original Score wins at the 2020 Césars, the Annie Awards and LAFCA Awards. In 2021, Annette and Les Olympiades (Paris, 13th District) jointly received the Cannes Soundtrack Award, with Annette subsequently winning Best Original Score at the 2022 César Awards. Dru also received a GMS Award nomination for Best Music Supervision for Annette. Pierre-Marie Dru recently supervised the music for two films selected for the 2024 Cannes Film Festival: Emilia Pérez(his latest collaboration with Jacques Audiard) and The Count of Monte Cristo (8 million admissions in France). Emilia Pérez won three awards at Cannes: Best Actress, the Jury Prize, and the Cannes Soundtrack Award. He is currently working on three ambitious animation projects: Marcel et Monsieur Pagnol (The Magnificent Life of Marcel Pagnol) by Sylvain Chomet, Cyrano by Guillaume Gallienne, and Asterix: Le Combat des Chefs, (Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight) directed by Alain Chabat and Fabrice Joubert. In addition, he is involved in two biopics about De Gaulle, directed by Antonin Baudry, as well as Alice Winocour’s upcoming film Coutures (Stitches).
