Metropolis

Metropolis, the city of the 21st century. Rebellion brews among the enslaved workers of the underground city, exploited for the benefit of a privileged elite living in towering skyscrapers. The most expensive German film of the great expressionist era and arguably one of the most visually ambitious, Metropolis is a masterpiece of science fiction cinema and a grandiose metaphor whose power to captivate endures through time.
